In this year of radical change, big parties have been few and far between. This weekend we celebrate the baby’s first birthday! That will be a party to remember, if only as a test of how well we can be single parents together.
But looking back over the year, Corinbank was an awesome event. Three days of music, camping, performance art, crazy food, pixie bungie bikes and friends. We ate amazing food, learnt new ways to wear the baby, slept in the adventure van and drank a lot of chai. I loved listening to Ellis Collective, performance poetry and many acts I’d never seen before.
Corinbank is a real community event, one of the few music festivals where kids can roam free. And the setting is amazing. We’ll be heading back again in 2011.
