and now we are three…

On Wednesday morning, a whole week early and very quickly, another little person entered the world.  No big deal, happens every day, it’s just that this little person came out of me.  I’m still a little astonished by that fact.  We are still getting to know one another, so don’t expect too much blogging here.

But I thought I’d let you know.

Other random thoughts about this whole birth-thing.

1.  People are more ‘obscenely biological’ than everyone pretends.  And Douglas Adams may never forgive me for using that phrase in this context.

2. Naming a baby seems like an overwhelming responsibility, let alone caring for one.

3.  Sleep is now my highest commodity.

Good night : )
